Improving Community Health: A Review of Sublette County Health's Annual Report 2022

At Sublette County Health our priority is to provide exceptional healthcare services to our community through efficient, high-quality, and patient-centered care. We are excited to share with you our recently released Annual Report, which includes information on the various initiatives happening within our organization.

Critical Access Hospital

One of our top initiatives is the development of a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) that will provide necessary services to underserved populations in rural areas. Our proposed CAH will offer emergency services, inpatient care, and outpatient services, as well as primary care and specialty clinics. We are currently in the planning and funding stage, with a projected opening date in 2024. Our goal is to provide accessible and high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Sublette County and neighboring communities.

Lab Tests and Radiology Services

At Sublette County Health, we take pride in offering nationally certified labs in both Pinedale and Marbleton/Big Piney. This provides convenience for our patients, allowing them to have their labs done close to home. We offer a variety of laboratory blood tests, including a Health Screen Profile, Hemogram Blood Count Screen, PSA, and more. In 2022, we performed over 29,000 labs and 2,532 x-rays, 1,584 CT scans, 265 ultrasounds, and 31 echocardiograms. Our focus on comprehensive testing and diagnostic services ensures our patients receive accurate and timely results.

Clinic Visits

In addition to laboratory and radiology services, we also offer scheduled and same-day urgent care visits in our Pinedale and Marbleton/Big Piney clinics. In 2022, we had over 19,000 clinic visits, with 13,644 at the Pinedale Medical Clinic and 5,958 at the Marbleton/Big Piney Medical Clinic. Our EMS Department, consisting of 19 full-time and 8 part-time emergency team members, including basic, advanced, and paramedic skill levels, provided top-quality emergency medical services. In 2022, we had a total of 1,502 EMS runs, averaging 120 per month, which resulted in 78,907 miles driven.

At Sublette County Health, we are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. We thank you for entrusting us with your healthcare needs and look forward to continuing to serve you. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
