Fundraising For The Sublette Center Outdoor Spaces

For more than 50 years, The Sublette Center has fulfilled a vital role in providing long-term care to our community. The facility is committed to providing exceptional care to residents, coupled with a warm and welcoming environment. The SC Health Foundation has initiated Phase 1 of the capital campaign, which aims to raise $450,000 for the Sublette Center.

Outdoor Spaces to Benefit Residents and Community Members

The Sublette Center Outdoor Spaces project will create exterior living spaces for Sublette Center residents, including flower gardens, patios, sitting areas, a walking path, and raised garden beds for residents to cultivate. This area will provide even more space for residents to socialize, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the outdoors.

The renovated outdoor space will also feature a playground, which will be open to local preschool children who visit the Sublette Center regularly. Residents have expressed an interest in watching the children play, and the playground will provide a new opportunity for fun and connection for both residents and the community at large. The playground has been completely funded thanks to a $100K donation from Satchitananda Ranch, putting us over 20% of the way to fully raising the $450K for the remaining outdoor space projects!

Promoting Healthy Lifestyles and Community Engagement

We believe that access to outdoor spaces is an essential component of overall well-being. By supporting this project, you will be contributing to the physical, mental, and emotional health of our community members. Our hope is that these outdoor spaces will become a hub for community engagement and socialization, where individuals can connect and enjoy the benefits of spending time outdoors. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
